Children
Vulnerable children across Kasero, Buloba, and the surrounding villages get access to education, basic needs, and a safe place to simply be children.
Dovan Foundation walks alongside vulnerable children, young mothers, and the elderly in Wakiso, Kampala, and Kyegegwa — providing the education, healthcare, and support they need to build lives of their own.
Dovan Foundation was built around three groups our communities too often overlook. Each one gets the same standard of care: dignity first, dependency never.
Vulnerable children across Kasero, Buloba, and the surrounding villages get access to education, basic needs, and a safe place to simply be children.
Young mothers facing teenage pregnancy, domestic violence, or life without support get guidance, counselling, and a path toward independence — for themselves and their children.
As our work has grown, so has our reach. We are extending the same dignity and support to elderly members of our community who have too often been left to face old age alone.
Dovan Foundation began with Mr and Mrs Kajjimu Ivan and Dorothy, who saw what was happening in their own community — children going without, young mothers carrying too much alone — and chose to build something that lasts.
