Dovan Foundation · Hope for the Helpless

Every person deserves a way forward.

Dovan Foundation walks alongside vulnerable children, young mothers, and the elderly in Wakiso, Kampala, and Kyegegwa — providing the education, healthcare, and support they need to build lives of their own.

Who We Walk Alongside

Built around three groups our communities too often overlook

Dovan Foundation was built around three groups our communities too often overlook. Each one gets the same standard of care: dignity first, dependency never.

Children supported by Dovan Foundation

Children

Vulnerable children across Kasero, Buloba, and the surrounding villages get access to education, basic needs, and a safe place to simply be children.

Young mothers supported by Dovan Foundation

Young Mothers

Young mothers facing teenage pregnancy, domestic violence, or life without support get guidance, counselling, and a path toward independence — for themselves and their children.

Elderly community members supported by Dovan Foundation

The Elderly

As our work has grown, so has our reach. We are extending the same dignity and support to elderly members of our community who have too often been left to face old age alone.

Why We Started

A conviction that grew into a foundation

Dovan Foundation began with Mr and Mrs Kajjimu Ivan and Dorothy, who saw what was happening in their own community — children going without, young mothers carrying too much alone — and chose to build something that lasts.
